Data Architect – Snowflake & Data Vault 2.0

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with expertise in Snowflake data engineering and Data Vault 2.0 to support a client’s modernization initiative in the asset management space. This is an initial contract role for a few months, with the possibility of extension.

Role Overview

You will work closely with the client’s team to design and implement a Data Vault 2.0 architecture, ensuring a scalable and efficient data environment. Your expertise in data modeling and Snowflake will be critical in helping the firm modernize its data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement Data Vault 2.0 solutions within a Snowflake environment.
  • Design scalable data models tailored to the asset management industry.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align data strategy with business needs.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance and ensure best practices in data engineering.
  • Work directly with the client through an initial contract period (full-time for a few months) with a potential extension.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Snowflake as a Data Engineer or Architect.
  • Strong expertise in Data Vault 2.0 (certification is preferred but not required).
  • Extensive experience in data modeling and architecture.
  • Background in asset management or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Contract Details

  • Engagement: Full-time for an initial period of a few months, with the potential for extension.
