Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and analyze load and performance tests to identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and reliability risks.
- Provide clear recommendations and implement solutions to improve system performance and resource efficiency.
- Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, ELB, EFS, S3, RDS, etc.), ensuring stability, scalability, and security.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively detect and address issues.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning, scaling, and optimizing cloud resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, operations) to ensure performance standards and SLAs are consistently met.
- Conduct regular infrastructure audits and cost optimization reviews to ensure efficient use of AWS services.
- Stay up to date with AWS advancements and performance testing tools, applying relevant improvements to the stack.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Strong experience with AWS (EC2, ELB, EFS, S3, RDS, others)
- Experience with load testing & optimization
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured startup setting
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Located in Latin America with ET timezone overlap
