ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is building a next-gen mobile platform for seamless payments. They’re on a mission—and we’re nearly at the finish line for their next major release. We’re looking for a hands-on Frontend Engineer who can lead from the front and help ship the next version of our product—fast. This is a short-term contract (3–4 weeks) with the possibility of re-engagement later. After this sprint, there may be a pause of a few weeks before continuing.
What you´ll do
- You’ll take ownership of a product that’s nearly ready to launch—rolling up your sleeves to deliver key final features and ensure stability across the stack. You’ll lead technical execution while collaborating closely with leadership and our existing team.
- You’ll write, review, and ship production-grade code using technologies like React Native for mobile, Node.js for backend logic, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB) for serverless infrastructure, and Firebase for authentication and deeplinking. You’ll also work with ACH integrations (Plaid, Orum, Dwolla), messaging tools like Customer.io, and error tracking via Sentry.
- Push weekly iOS app releases, ensuring reliable performance and an excellent user experience.
- Investigate and interpret data from tools like PostHog (behavioral analytics) and RevenueCat (subscription revenue)—using insights to inform product decisions, prioritize fixes, and uncover opportunities.
- Own uptime, performance, and incident resolution—you’re the first to know and the fastest to act.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with both the engineering team and leadership—daily standups, weekly check-ins, and async updates.
- Unblock and problem-solve quickly—keeping momentum up and distractions down.

- Comfortable navigating product and engineering metrics—you can turn user behavior data (PostHog) and revenue trends (RevenueCat) into concrete product and engineering actions.
- Skilled at balancing big-picture architecture with small-detail execution.
- Clear communicator who can manage up, down, and across with ease.
- Passionate about building experiences that are technically sound and genuinely delightful to users.
