About the Role
We’re looking for a senior full-stack engineer to join a small, fast-moving product team building a matching engine that indexes physical product catalogs and generates optimized proposals using vector search and optimization algorithms. This is a hands-on engineering role with a back-end-heavy focus, joining a lean team where your work will directly shape the core product.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end services in Go, with front-end contributions in Angular
- Work on the core matching engine: catalog indexing, proposal generation, and optimization logic
- Contribute to vector search / embedding-based features supporting product matching
- Collaborate closely with a small team (3 people) with direct access to leadership
- Help evolve system architecture as the product scales
- Work within a Postgres / Google Cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
- 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong back-end development skills in Go
- Working proficiency in Angular for front-end work
- Experience with PostgresQL and cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud preferred)
- Comfortable operating in a small-team, high-ownership environment
- Nice to have: interest or experience in ML/vector search, embeddings, or optimization algorithms
Compensation & Engagement Details
