Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to support ongoing client work, primarily focused on straightforward Shopify buildouts. This role is ideal for someone who can move quickly, work independently, and execute clean implementations without overengineering.

Responsibilities
- Build and customize Shopify stores using paid themes as a starting point
- Customize themes (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to match client needs
- Implement standard integrations (apps, analytics, marketing tools, etc.)
- Handle light front-end enhancements and UX adjustments
- Work on self-contained projects with minimal hand-holding
- Collaborate asynchronously via Slack and shared tools
Requirements
- Strong experience with Shopify theme development
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience working with existing themes rather than fully custom builds
- Comfortable working independently and managing scoped tasks
- Good communication skills and reliable availability when engaged
Nice to Have
- E-commerce background beyond Shopify (conversion, merchandising awareness)
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus
- Experience supporting agencies or consultancies
