About the Client
Our client is on a mission to help brands building on Shopify become more accessible and ADA compliant. Our AI-powered platform helps Shopify merchants automatically find and fix accessibility issues, ensuring their websites are more ADA-compliant. From auditing + practical testing to generating and applying accessible code changes (previously done by a software dev), We enable brands to deliver better, more inclusive shopping experiences for every customer and better protect themselves from the 10,000+ demand letters and ADA lawsuits targeting brands every year.

The Role
As a Shopify, you will be joining a small, fast-moving team improving web accessibility for Shopify merchants. You’ll work on our Shopify app, helping brands achieve ADA compliance through smarter, more inclusive design powered by AI.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain features for the Shopify app.
- Ensure accessibility and ADA/WCAG compliance across Shopify storefronts.
- Improve TypeScript-based front-end components for a smooth user experience.
- Collaborate with design, product, and AI teams to implement accessibility-first solutions.
What You Bring
- Experience developing within the Shopify ecosystem (Liquid, Storefront API, Admin API).
- Strong skills in TypeScript (React experience is a plus).
- Solid understanding of Accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG).
- Experience in or with a Shopify agency is a strong plus.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a high-ownership environment.
