About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Workday Recruiting & Learning Consultant to support the optimization and enhancement of an existing Workday environment. This consultant will partner closely with Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Learning & Development, and business stakeholders to evaluate current configurations, recommend best practices, optimize business processes, and implement scalable Workday Recruiting and Learning solutions.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience configuring both Workday Recruiting and Workday Learning, understands how organizations hire, onboard, and develop employees, and can confidently advise business partners on solution design and process improvements. This is a highly consultative role requiring strong functional expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently recommend improvements that increase automation, efficiency, compliance, and user adoption.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current Workday Recruiting and Learning configurations and recommend best practices
- Configure and optimize: Job Requisitions, Candidate Workflows, Interview Scheduling, Offer Management, Recruiting Security, Career Sites, Learning Campaigns, Learning Assignments, Certifications, Course Catalogs, Instructor-Led Training, and Compliance Programs
- Redesign Recruiting and Learning business processes for improved efficiency
- Provide functional consulting and solution design across both modules
- Support testing, deployment, hypercare, and post-production enhancements
- Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
Qualifications
Required:
- 5-8+ years of Workday Functional experience
- 4-6+ years of hands-on Workday Recruiting and Workday Learning experience
- Strong configuration experience in both Workday Recruiting and Workday Learning
- Experience optimizing and redesigning Recruiting and Learning business processes
- Full lifecycle Workday Recruiting & Learning implementation experience
- Experience providing functional consulting and solution design
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
- Experience improving recruiting automation, learning administration, and overall user experience
- Experience supporting testing, deployment, hypercare, and post-production enhancements
- Workday Pro Recruiting and/or Workday Pro Learning Certification (preferred; strong candidates without it will still be considered)

- Experience partnering with Talent Acquisition, HRIS, and Learning & Development leadership
- Experience supporting integrations with background check vendors, job boards, learning content providers, or third-party learning platforms
